On August 10, 2017, My Wedding Group is hosting the first ever Iron Caterer Throwdown!

4 top caterers will go head-to-head to create 3 spectacular dishes using 3 secret ingredients. We couldn't be more excited for this event & to prepare you for it, we're introducing you to the chefs!

First up, all the way from Barcelona, Spain, is Daniel López of Time to Taste Catering.

Daniel, a native of Barcelona, Spain, started cooking when he was 10 years old and never stopped.

"I have been inspired by my mom and grandma, who would create brilliant dishes and always adapt to unexpected guests and friends.

When I turned 18, I moved to the States to pursue my dream of being an entrepreneur. After living here for a few years, I decided Greenville needed a bit of Spain.

I started Time to Taste Catering to provide my customers with a completely customized and personalized experience. By using fresh ingredients, being creative, working within your budget, and relieving pressure, we will help make your event memorable.

Paella | Time to Taste Catering

Time to Taste Catering builds custom menus to suit your special occasion. Normally, caterers allow you to pick from a list. Not to doubt them, but I have to be different. Spanish Mediterranean cuisine is what we do best, but we're also know to put our own twist on other ethnic dishes. 

I do a lot of paella, but it doesn't mean I have to do paella for you. I like to sit down with you over a drink or coffee and just hear your overall vision for your event. As you're talking, I'm thinking, "Where would my food fit in with this event?"

Some of Time to Taste's Specialties

Paella: De Montaña, Mixta or Marisco with Bomba rice, saffron, sofrito, peas, fava beans, artichoke hearts. Cooked on-site in a huge paella pan, straight from Spain. As a cooking demo, class, or ready when you are.

Tapas: Prosciutto-wrapped dates, Gorgonzola tomatoes, patatas bravas, lemon-garlic shrimp, roasted vegetables, hummus shots with veggie sticks, spiced almonds and so much more. Let us create a tapas menu for your event!

Rehearsal Dinners and Weddings: formal or casual, food stations, or main courses; your menu will always be delicious and memorable. 

Corporate events: whether it's a multi-day conference, an executive board meeting, a quick lunch, or a team building event, we have you covered. You have enough on your plate, let me give you peace of mind and take on all your catering needs.
