 Planning a wedding can be super stressful…I would know because I just had mine. If I had it to do over I would have hired a wedding planner, and here’s why. 

#1. Stress: Planning a wedding is hard work! A wedding planner will take on all the stress so you stay sane. My mom took on the role of the Wedding Planner and it was just too much. On your wedding day, you should be focusing on getting your hair done and putting on that beautiful gown, surrounded by friends and family, not on the phone talking to the caterer who can’t find the venue.

 

#2. Mishaps: As much as I thought that I could make my day go exactly as planned, it’s nearly impossible to make that happen without someone there to run the day. Who is going to make sure that everything is in order? Again, this is a your day and you should be able to enjoy it to the fullest. Not running around trying to get everything in order. 

 

#3. Sticking to a budget: Who’s paying, how much, when is your bill due and how do you make sure you don’t spend too much of it? A wedding planner specializes in weddings. They know how much things should cost, roughly what percentage of your budget will be spent in each area, whether, and when payments will need to be made in order to secure services or products.
